On August 2, 2024, a workshop-focus group was held for residents of 4, 6, 14 and 22 Academy street (SOFTacademy project area), led by the TalTech Academy of Architecture and Urbanism. The aim of the workshop was to reach a decision with the residents on the renovation solutions for the buildings and to put in place two scenarios with estimated costs, which could be voted on by the PA. From the previous focus group (27.04), each house had made preliminary choices on the volumes and functions of the buildings. In order to move forward from these scenarios, a calculator was prepared by TalTech, which allowed the workshop to make decisions taking into account the estimated base cost of the options, the potential energy savings and the energy class of the building to be achieved.
